I think that would be an excellent gaming rig. However instead of buying the M.2 drive, you could get an SSD of the same size and use that money for an I7, or a case, or something along those lines.

 

Nothing against that M.2, I plan to get one for my gaming machine one day, but there are other places you could spend your money more wisely in order to get an actual performance increase (such as CPU and/or GPU)

What do you plan on doing with the PC, that's what determines if you really need the i7.
