Need help PC wont start (worked perfectly)

PC wont start up after working perfectly.

Today i was playing Far cry 3 reliving my memories again

During my mission (shi.....) PC SHUT DOWN,..

I thought eletricity went out. it didn't...

I immediately checked temp (by hand)

Thing is i was running ultra on full hd at 40-60 fps

and i could touch my gpu heatsink (was warm pre shut down temp was peaking at 65' at high load)

Cpu was dead cold 60' degrees celsius (before shutdown)

PSU WAS LIKE A FRYING PAN

From this point i dont know what to do?

Specification:

Gpu Nvidia gtx 960 2 gb gddr 5

Cpu Intel i3 4170 3.7 ghz

Ram 4 gb Kingston hyperxfurry 1800mhz

Psu is spire 500w

I was able to run Far cry 4 on very high at 60fps (ez without anything getting near warm)

Is my psu dead or something else answer me below PLEASE.

What should i do if psu overheated?

You should replace it. As EnemySp0tt3d said, a lower end PSU can fry things when they go. However, I wouldn't worry until you put in a new PSU. I had a 500w Rosewill fry once while gaming, and my old AMD Phenom 2 x6 and Corsair RAM handled it perfectly. My MB died though. The PSU short caused a diode to fry. You should take a good flashlight and closely examine the circuit board for damage. It wouldn't be a good idea to hook a new PSU to a damaged MB. If your other components survived, they might not survive the next power-on if the MB is damaged.

Get a reputable PSU. I generally suggest for people to stick with reputable companies. Why? Well they might cost more, but you generally get a good warranty with it. In my case, my Rosewill PSU was still under warranty, so getting my MB replaced due to a faulty PSU was fairly straight forward.

Examine the board. If you have a spare computer around, grab its PSU and see if the thing powers on.
