Hi, i'm building a PC for video editing (1080p mostly), and i would like to know what matters the most in terms of lowering the rendering times in for example Adobe Premiere Pro. The CPU or the GPU?

Should i build a PC with i7 6700 + gtx950 or i3 6100 + gtx1060 // RX480/470 or maybe a good balance? i5 6600 + GTX960 4GB

Also does it matter if i choose Nvidia or AMD card? Which would perform better while rendering?

I plan to get 8 GB of system ram at first, later ill upgrade to 16/32.

Premiere mainly wants a beefy CPU. More and faster cores is better. If you tell us your all in budget, what needs to be included and what country you are in, we can configure a machine for you and give you advice on the best bang for the buck.
