windows 10 activation not working

i built a new computer yesterday and when i installed windows 10 on it, it asked me for a product key so i typed it in and it proceeded, and now im at the desktop and it says windows is not activated and when i type in the product key again it says its been used on another device and wont work. Why tho?

Is your license of Windows new or old? Is your license of Windows 10 was upgraded from Windows 7/8 or newly bought? If is new license, where did you buy it? If it old, where does it come from? Did you use this license with another system? Did you buy an OEM license or Retail license of Windows?

i bought an OEM licence of windows a couple days ago and i bought it from kinguin.net ive bought licences from there before and they have worked fine in the past.

OEM licenses are not transferable. The license you got is being or was being used in another system. So you got scammed.
