Hi guys i am austin, oops i mean hi guys i am jonathan :D

i was wondering if there are any cheap yet packed with feature 'camera' currently looking for those so called point and shoot camera or 'vlogging' camera that i can attach a flexible mic that can extend up to a car length? and provided the mic isn't too big either something like Linus always uses when he is hosting the show (clipped on his shirt) dont know the exact term for it, am in need of such weird contraption because i am working for a car agent and from time to time we need to record evidence of the sound/condition of the car when such incident happened (i dont think i made sense here) of which the customer complained.

Example of the scenario here is , we need to aim the camera at the speedometer to record the rpm and speed at the same time we need to record the screeching sound from the rear of the car which is coming from the brake drums and we would like to route a mic to the back (need a flexible mic capable of 3.5m jack connection).

Packed with what sort of features?

There are handheld camcorders that have ports for external mics to be plugged in.  You can buy something like this:

And get a mic like this along with a TRS minijack extension cable:
