intel ac 7260 versions

Dear Forumers,

 

Im planning to upgrade the wireless card on my razer edge pro. The intel ac 7260 seems to be the most common choice and I have already been on amazon, but the different models are confusing me. Can you please tell me what is the difference between : hmw, hmwwb, hmwwb.r, hmwg.r ?

Some include Bluetooth.  Some don't.   There's even some 7260s which are 802.11n-only, not even supporting .ac.  You really have to be careful if you're buying on eBay, that you know exactly what you're ordering.  Also, make sure you're getting what's appropriate for your laptop, ie: miniPCI-E, or M.2, whichever the case may be.

I know it has to be mini pcie, and I would like to have bluetooth as well, but this is a mess just take a look

7260 is what I use. Possibly one of the worst cards ever produced if you intend to use it on a 2.4GHz network. Its 5GHz and bluetooth performance is pretty good though.

what issues did you have on 2,4ghz? i only read positive responses about the card so far.
