Windows 10 accent colour issue

So, once I used this guide to change my accent colour to blue in windows 10, before the anniversary update. Then I updated and loved the looks and wanted to revamp my OS to dark material design stuff, so I selected the grey option in the Settings app. I wasn't satisfied with the results. So I then followed this guide, and it was successful (the color I chose was ff161617) and it came up!  When I click it though it just instantly resets to the blue color I picked earlier. I read that you have to click a few other colours and I did that, then it stayed on the selection of the new colour I just added but it's still blue.
