Low Benchmark Scores! Help? :D

Hey Guys!

 

So I know that my CPU i5-4460 was going to bottleneck my GTX 1070 G1 Gaming, but I still got it, and are doing a CPU upgrade later when possible.

But right now, I just want to make sure, that my score is caused by the lack of CPU power, and not GPU problems?

In Valley I got a score at 3958, this isn't because I got a defect card right? Thanks!

Not familiar with Valley scores, have you done a FireStrike bench yet?

Nope, but I'll do once I get home, it gives the GPU a rating on its own right?

that sounds right. did you oc? getting above 4000 requires memory and core clocks

Yep, i cranked everything up, until fragments and program not responding began. I guess the program not responding is because of my CPU? Because my higher memory only caused my benchmark to go black screen, but no fragments, so with a better CPU I should be able to go higher?

4K is the normal score for GTX1070 iinm.

So mine would be underperforming, if I OCed it and it still was under 4k?

So, I just did the FireStrike, and my GPU got a score of 20642, is that something to worry about, or all good?
