Hello everyone,

as i was building my first gaming pc about half a year ago and was helped by you guys A LOT, i thought it might be a good idea to ask you for your help again :P

This time around it is not a build for myself, but an upgrade for the brother of a good friend of mine.

1. Budget & Location

This Upgrade/Build is basically for gaming only and will not be moved much. The budget for the upgrade is about 600€-700€ (i would like to aim for the 600€ tbh)

2. Aim

The user of this build is mainly playing LoL, Overwatch, CSGO, Hearthstone, so basically not THAT much demanding games.

3. Monitors

This should run max. two monitors and i think 1080p should be enough, too.

4. Peripherals

Everything is already avialable in this category. So, a mouse, keyboard, OS and monitors are already bought and don't need to be included in the budget.

5. Why are you upgrading?

This guys rig is honestly pretty old and got problems running all games in high settings with 60 fps.

6. Additional

To be honest with you guys i am a little bit of a fan boy of nvidia/intel so i will favour those aswell :)

This updated rig is not supposed to be overclocked, so we don't need an overclockable CPU or watercooling (if there is an option in this budget). I was aiming for something like the 4690k and a gtx 970, but if you might find better options please feel free to post them

Thank you very much in advance for your time and help!

To be hones with you, i don't know all the details... i just got told, that he got an SSD, HDD, OS, RAM and optical drive, i could reuse... the rest should be new (within the budget)

I'm guessing he has DDR3 RAM, so he could reuse the SSD and HDD only. DDR3 isn't compatible with Skylake.
