Steelseries 6Gv2 compared to Razer Blackwidow

Hi everyone,

I have a razer blackwidow and I don't really like the switches. I think they are too clicky and I don't like to type with them (blues).

I'm looking into buying a steelseries G6v2 (black switches). The problem is I can't test them.

So my question is: how are black switches compared to blue switches and which one do you prefer?

If it's too noisy, you can always look for rubber o rings to put underneath the keycaps or buy cherry mx browns, I have the Logitech G710+ and it's been great so far.

I would say get the SteelSeries 6Gv2. As much as I like blue switches, Razer just doesn't make good enough keyboards for the price they sell. The build quality on the 6Gv2 is just better than the BlackWidow.

 

Black switches are rather heavy, but after using for a couple of weeks I'm pretty sure you'll get used to it.
