Hey guys,

I've just finished upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

I was wondering what I should be installing when I first get in?

I have a utilities disc for my motherboard but its made for Windows 7/8 and last time I used it my computer kept getting errors.

I have a disc for my SSD which I've already installed.

Any help appreciated

Install your LAN driver only. After that I personally then install my anti virus solution then go to the motherboard manufacture and install the newest drivers for my motherboard available if I did not download them previously. If all you did was the automatic windows upgrade from 7 to 10, then you should actually still be fine as all your drivers etc are already still installed.

What i did was installing drivers for mobo (chipset,  sound,   network,  etc.)  then gpu drivers and then any software i need,  starting with antivirus and browser.  There is a website for grabbing the most common software quickly all at once https://ninite.com Logan (TeKSyndicate)  uses it and I think Luke does too.

Win10 autoinstalls a lot of drivers but i trust myself better.  I only let it autoinstall a driver for my wireless usb receiver.

This is my motherboard:  GA-H77M-D3H (rev. 1.0)

But the link to it won't work for some reason : http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4143

The GA-H77-D3H (rev. 1.0) version works though. I'm confused...: http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4141#ov

Help??
