Hi guys I'm trying to build a $700 pc to play almost every game, for this I made this build.
Rate it and made some comments about some things I might be missing.

I would recommend getting a 1060 instead of an RX 480. I say this because the 1060 outperforms the 480 and is around the same price range.

nice build but i dont recommend going with amd cpus for now

mine is over the budget but i think it fitts your desires better

I commend your usage of a good PSU, but you'd be better off on an i5-6500 for 1080p

Not actually around the same price range, it's unavaliable for less than $300

And by that time RX 480s will have dropped prices as well.

 

No sir, I will not take waiting as a justification. Anyone can wait to get better bang for buck not just on nvidia GPUs

I like this build better then the original build using fm board and the FX AMD cpu. The i5, however being locked, will perform in my opinion nicer (maybe not as many FPS) but will overall be nicer to use generally.

 

I may consider in your case to get 1x8GB DDR3 Dimm, so you can upgrade to 2x8 and so on. Unless you don't see yourself doing much upgrading.

 

I also would conisder the GTX 1060 as well, but thats just my opinion (wait for it to be stocked, worth it)

It doesn't look like you have the cash, but I prefer a small SSD boot drive and a larger PSU for more comfort room.

If you were to do that trade, I would stick with the 480 and get the SSD. The difference between it and a HDD it night and day!

Yeah, looks good. I have never ran a stock cooler on a GPU before (besides aftermarket GPUS) so i wonder how thermal throttling will affect your performance.

I think you will enjoy this build. Decent PC for 1080p gaming

RX 480's cooler is meh, you can survive on it, but the hape is that at least one custom-cooled custom PCB 4GB 480 goes for just over $200
