So i have been using a Benchmarking website called passmark or its made by some company called passmark or something,this site http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ i used ALOT to compare my cards and other and was wondering how accurate it is if at all ?

Well, it's a synthetic benchmark and should be regarded as such. It's useful for comparing hardware against each other within Passmark, but just don't fall into the trap of assuming those "points" mean anything for real-world application/game performance.

Passmark covers a range of tests for their components which comprises their final score.

The final score is indicative of total performance markers across a field, and not per application performance.

 

It's the same reason why CPUs with more cores almost always score far above those with better single threaded performance. It's sheer computational ability, not necessarily how they perform in the real world.

 

I personally use it more to compare my own physical hardware using their testing program to make sure it's performing up to snuff. As far as their lists go, it's kind of difficult to derive any valuable information from it. You'd be better off comparing hard specs and actual live comparisons to see how it's going to perform for your specific application.
