PC for a friend

Go to solution Solved by Matu20,

Cut corners with the motherboard (since he won't be overclocking) and the monitor (since 1080p at 60hz is more or less the same with minimal difference with the same TN panel). Also added a SSD, makes a huge difference.

New build for a friend

The purpose of this build is primarily gaming, but it's also going to be used as a light work station, really basic stuff. The performance I'm trying to get out of this machine is 1920x1080p, 60FPS, with settings on high, or medium for hard to run games.  I live in the US, so that's where the parts are going, so they might be a bit cheaper or more expensive. The budget I'm going for is preferably under $800 USD, but anywhere under $850 is fine.  My friend is really new to PC gaming, so he won't be overclocking.  I'm mainly trying to cut costs in anyway, without affecting performance, as I'm already over the $850 budget.  Any help on any of the parts is appreciated.
