Doom - Nightmare is impossible!

I can burn through doom on Ultra-Violence difficulty with relative ease.  My favorite gun is the double shotgun and I only use other guns when more firepower is needed for longer shots.  But I tried Nightmare and I can't even get past the first hell portal right after waking up!  I thought I was good at the game, turns out, I suck??

 

Has anyone been able to finish on Nightmare?  How do you do it!?

no one has been able to beat it on nightmare yet ;p

never mind

that was like a couple months ago whne it was first released

now so far like 2 dudes beat it

or at least thats what i found on youtube

They wouldn't create a level that is impossible to beat.
