Hello! I have made a parts list for a gaming pc build, budget is a little over 600 US dollars, plan on playing Overwatch, GTA 5, Minecraft, Need For Speed Edge, Rocket League, No Mans Sky, and possibly Just Cause 3 are the most demanding things I plan on running, medium settings, 60fps on 1080p monitor. Can this build do that?

Build:

Power supply:XFX TS 550w Full Wired 80+ Bronze Power Supply - P1550SXXB9

Case: Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case Stryker M

Motherboard: ASRock B150M Pro4S Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

CPU fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

GPU:  Radeon RX 480 graphics card

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gb (1x8gb) DDR4-2133 Memory

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5” 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Tell me if any of these parts are bad or would slow my computer down. My leeway is about 50-100$ so if you can find anything much better for that much, that would be great, so my budget is 600-700 US dollars.

Periferals:

Redragon S101 Vajra USB Gaming Keyboard with Centrophorus USB Gaming Mouse

GW SADES SA902 7.1 Channel Virtual USB Surround Stereo Wired PC Gaming Headset Over Ear Headphones with Mic Revolution Volume Control Noise Canceling LED Light(Black&Red)

Yes your build can do it. I would try and go with a 2x4 kit for memory, will work better. The i5 6400 is just as good as well. I have one in my wifes rig with the Evo 212 on it :D

Yes this build is definitely capable of running those games at high settings though I would consider buying a better and more efficient power supply

btw use pcpartpicker next time thanks

That 480 and 6500 should handle most things you throw at it at 1080p.

You might want to throw in a cheap 128GB boot SSD while you're at it, but otherwise, looks great.

Ok, great. I'm getting 1x8 gb for upgradability in future, but then again who needs ram?

Allready have SSD, should have put that in there. Also, I am glad I chose those components well!

What is wrong with current power supply, and can you find a better one for the price? Also what does pcpartpicker have to do with anything?

you could invest a bit more in a more well-known brand for reliability's sake, but for performance it's as good as any

its not xt, so its good. still a seasonic built unit, so theres not much better at that price. the only thing it lacks is modularity.

looks pretty good, though you dont need the 212 evo since stock cooler on a locked chip is perfectly fine

I felt like getting an EVO because better cooling is better, right?

If you're concerned about reliability Corsair's got a 3 year warranty and is pretty well known for running smoothly: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Continuous-Warranty-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1468373035&sr=1-1&keywords=psu

Well I just want a good power supply that wont melt my whole computer. Or my house.

The PSU is fine, and at that little power consumption Bronze v Silver really doesn't matter much

So no fire problems? Last PSU I found people said theirs lit on fire.

I would still consider buying from a brand like corsair as theirs are less likely to set on fire lol ;)

NO. cx greens are terrible for gaming builds since the caps max out at 30C, and i quote, "CX Series power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds", so its firey

theyre all pretty close. the cx greys are based on the rm design, which is in the same tier as the s/m12ii. the s12ii and m12ii are the same. youre just paying more for modularity. i would say get the corsair one, since its at least semimodular and 450w is enough for a 6500 and rx 480 (unless you have the budget for the modular seasonic)

wccftech is a questionable source at best, though it was also reported by videocardz. keep in mind this is from an nvidia manual so it will be a bit biased. card launches july 19th, so you could wait until then for benchmarks before decideing. i kind of expect it to be faster than the 480, but no one can be sure until benchmarks come out. also keep in mind that the founders edition is $299, so manufactueres may target that price point like the did with  aftermarket 1070s/1080s
