I was thinking of buying a rx 480 8gb, but i started researching and looking at other cards as well and it seems that a 980ti or a R9 390X 8gb would be a solid choice as well. Reason being that in Greece the rx480 costs 299.99 to 359,99 and the 980ti is 480~ while the R9 is 390~
Would the R9 (Sapphire Nitro edition) be a better choice? I know that it is power hungry and needs better cooling, but considering the prize gap the R9 390X should be better than the RX 480 right?

Thanks in advance! :D

get the 980ti if your psu can handle it/ has 2x8pin pci in it. Other wise wait for 1060 and aftermarket 480's to drop

What model is it?

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

RMx Series

Oh. You're fine. Awesome :). Good on you for not buying a CX series.

Yeah, I'd say RX 480 but try and wait until the price drops a bit.

Maybe I'd settle on a aftermarket RX480? But dunno when they do come out and when I'll be able to buy them here.

They should come out in a month and they may cost $50 more than the Reference cards.

Wait for the 1060, it will release by the end of this month.

Read here- http://bit.ly/29yrtr6 why you should get a 1060 over 480.

It is a PC Build but there is TechTalk after the Storage configuration, you'll find it.

I wouldn't trust a source that claims the 960 to perfrom better than the 380 and the 760 to perfrom better than the 280.

It's pure speculation either way. Seems that Either a Sapphire or Asus RX480 might be the answer i need. If the 1060 does prove better at around the same price I'd go for that.
