Game, Microsoft visual c ++ error

Hi guys, first let me start this off by saying, i am experiencing many issues with my computer (MANY) and really do need some help, as once i fix a problem another seems to come up. For now i will explain whats going on for one of my games i just brought and downloaded, dark souls prepare to die edition steam, once it was finished installing (REDIST too) i launched it up and got the following error "Run time error! darksouls.exe the application has requested to terminate in a unusual way". After this i decided to try reinstalling the Microsoft visual c++ both 2008 and 2010, i managed to install the 2010 c++ but not the 2008 eight as it came up with another error saying "error the log installation files could not be found". Right now i have no idea what to do, for me it seems that i get really unlucky and my computer seems to get every problem possible, someone please help i spent alot of money on this machine. gtx 980 ti (msi oc white edition to be exact)

16gb corsair RAM

Intel 750 400gb ssd

1 tb western hard drive and a 2tb toshiba

msi gaming pro motherboard (z170a)

tplink wireless ac1750 card

corsair 750watt psu

windows 10 home edition, had it installed for less then 30days, ive had to reinstall windows 10 many times, including the use of diskpart
