Mic working everywhere except for Skype.

So I am at the hospital at the moment ans I would like to call my parents who are abroad to inform them but the mic does not seem to work. Works in messenger voice chat that I tried with a friend normal calls work as well.  And voice recording and search too.  Any idea what could be wrong wirh skype?

skype settings maybe, try looking for capture device settings. not 100% if its in there if this is phone version
