USB Headset not working

I had this issue when I installed drivers for my sound card and now no USB Plug and Play devices work, I had a samson GO mic and thought it was the mic, so I bought a headset which works on my laptop but still wont work on my desktop. Help.

Have you selected the USB device as the active/default audio device in your OS audio settings?

It doesn't show up
