Hey guys! I have a RODE NTG-2 plugged into an iRig Pre via XLR, the iRig is running into a splitter that splits the headphone and microphone feed of the output. I plugged the 3.5mm jack into my PC to record audio with my RODE but it's not working. All I'm getting it a buzz. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for this informative post. Your presence is welcomed.

I was going to suggest if you made sure to provide phantom power to the mic, but then remembered the NTG2 can use AA batteries.
