I am based in Australia, just look for advice on the hardware at the moment don't want to spend anymore than $1200aud and I am yet to change the power supply to semi-modular or modular. Will be used to play CSGO and just a general computer for Visual Basic and visual studio

Correct, New from AMD, around $200 US and should be around GTX 980 performance.

Drop the fans imo, up to a 6500 and drop the cooler, wait till pascal, get a 520w Antec high current game modular. Apart from that all good.

Polaris I mean. Need more coffee. Anyway polaris is AMDs upcoming architecture aimed at the $200 USD price point and lower instead of going against Nvidia in the $400+ they're hoping instead to steal the "mainstream" area of the market making GPU prices cheaper and VR more accessible.
