So my oculus rift finally arrived yesterday. I was so looking forward to playing project cars, so I plug in the wheel and it goes nuts. No left turn, only 90 degrees right. Uninstalled logitechs profiler and removed all traces of it with a Logitech tool as well as manually removing drivers.

Now with the profiler reinstalled, and all settings set to 900 degrees, I have a new issue. The wheel and pedals work, but the wheel, no matter what settings I put in is stuck in 180 degrees mode (90 either way). But worst of all, Windows only recognises it as 180 degrees in the 'game controllers' window. So despite all profile settings set to 900 degrees (global and game specific etc etc) it not the game with the issue, but even Windows itself can't see the full 900 degrees of rotation.

Surely, it's a driver issue, but I've tried everything. I'm getting to the point now of wanting to sell the damn thing and just buy a t300. But the bui.d quality doesn't see, as good.

Any help appreciated.

Just to clarify, does this only happen when the Oculus is plugged in. Only asking because that was the first thing you talked about.

Likely a firmware issue within the controller

No I thought that. Its annoying because I've been using the wheel for ages on same software/drivers. Logitech seem to have stopped releasing drivers for the g25/27 after the launch of Windows 10 and there new replacements.

Not drivers. They are the connection between firmware and OS

Firmware issues are often more difficult to resolve. Firmware controls the hardware within certain device. A faulty game controller is 99% due to glitched or corrupted firmware, usually caused by an ESD when a person touches it

I've not had a chance to try with a second PC. The firmware on the g27 isn't upgradable either so there's no quick fix.

Contact Logitech, but from what I can see the two may be unconnected... If you get no joy PM me and I'll see if I can get some clever person at Logitech to help you.

Thanks. I ended up ordering a thrust master t300rs in the end. Didn't want to have to wait weeks to diagnose and fix an issue when my rift was mainly bought for sims (and btw, it's amazing).
