Look, I,ve done my research, I've watched every review, I know every brand, but I'm still lost. I just want to build my first gaming PC, with a budget of 1.2-1.4k. I need it to be relatively small, as I am in a very small apt., and I need it to be able to run No Man's Sky when it comes out, with ease. Please help a noob out.

moved to new build planning

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I would think that unless he wants to upgrade to 32gb or RAM, that it would look better with a 2x8 kit of RAM

More of a question to OP, but I get you. But I don't think he would upgrade anytime soon if he only uses that computer for gaming. Again, this is more of a question to OP, not criticism to you.
