Gaming and Schoolwork

Budget: $2000 CAD

 

AIM: Mainly gaming and schoolwork. Games I play: MOBA (LoL or DOTA 2), Minecraft and I would like to try out games that I have not played yet like: Overwatch, Counterstrike, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2. Some STEAM GAMES.

 

PC parts: I have been looking into pc parts and a Skylake build is preferred. For the CPU the I5-6600k because I like to overclock but i don't know what motherboard would go well with it because in the future I want to upgrade into 2 GPU's, for now 1 is enough, GPU the new GTX 1070. SSD and HDD for storage. I really like the look of the Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ATX glass, any recommendations for the case? I wanted a fully modular PSU.

 

Monitors: For starters i will be only using 1 monitor but in the future will get 1 more for a dual monitor setup. The monitor is NOT REQUIRED to be in the $2000 CAD budget, it can be separate but if it can be squeezed in the budget that would be accepted as well.

 

Peripherals: Windows 10 for the OS. For the mouse and keyboard i already have them.

 

I will be buying all of the components at NCIX.
