Network switch and wireless devices

I plan on using a network switch to provide my entire house with wired Internet, however I want to plug a outer into it, and mobile devices to interact with my wired devices (remote mouse, Spotify). How do I program the router to just broadcast the same network that the switch is making, instead of making a new network that only recognizes machines plugged into or wirelessly connected to it

If you plug the wan port of your router on you switch, all the devices connected to the router will be considered connected to the switch

I haven't decided on any equipment. I was basing this assumption off of my current network setup, I have the main router feeding into my personal router.
