hmm, I ended up switching to the Corsair H110i GTX 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler, what are your thoughts on that cooler?

Best AOI u can get.

Hello everyone, I am getting ready to order parts for my first Build(hopefully by sunday, except the 1080's), I was just posting on here to see everyone's opinions on it and if you have any recommendations such as parts that may be cheaper and work just as efficiently or any flaws that may or may not need correcting. I am not 100% sure on the case I will be using so if anyone has recommendations for an excellent case that would be wonderful. I have around 1900 overall to burn including the keyboard, this does not include additional fans, paste, wires etc as I have extra money set aside for that.

P.S. the 1080 I will be going with is going to be either the STRIX or the FTW I am unsure which I will be ordering(whenever they are officially released)

P.S.S. The monitor I have there is just a monitor I am using until the end of summer when I will be grabbing a ROG Swift

Here is my pcpartpicker list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/YcBjXH

If you have any other questions i'd be happy to answer them!

thanks in advance,

- Kris

only thing i can recommend is a better cpu cooler especially if you plan to overclock, perhaps an all in one liquid cooler like the h115i

32Gb Corsair Xms3 DDR3

Cooler is fine but don't expect much overclocking with it.

why the founders edition? maybe wait for other brands start launching their custom cooler and also they are cheaper than the reference cooler

Thanks a ton for the input, I originally had the H110i as my cooler but someone suggested grabbing the 212 EVO instead >_<

Reread my statements again, I said, " P.S. the 1080 I will be going with is going to be either the STRIX or the FTW I am unsure which I will be ordering(whenever they are officially released)". This are aftermarket 1080's, I never said anything about grabbing a Founder's Edition.

Something 2x the price and higher.  But it depends on your desired overclock. AOI watercooler would be best, NH-D14 or 15 from noctua is the best air cooler but its massive....
