buy some of your parts from sim lim square, some from lazada. don't get them from newegg as their shipping prices are bad.

the 4-6th floors are fine, the 1-2 floors are the ones you need to look out for. everyone in the local forums will also use sls/lazada for their parts.

Oh ok thanks

pcthemes at the 4th floor is the friendliest for newbies. if you're thick-skinned and don't care about service, tradepac has the best prices.

Only the phone and camera shops are out to scam you. I brought my PC parts at Cybermind, Fuwell and BestBargain ( yes, you can bargain for lower prices there ), which are good places to shop at. Some of the other shops that I looked around in ( but did not buy from ) look good too. The only thing about the PC shops in Sim Lim is the customer service, as there are mixed reviews about that.

I suggest you do some research about shopping for PC parts in Sim Lim. Do note that some of the PC shops in Sim Lim may not have all the parts you need, as they ship in brands that are popular, although not necessarily the best.

i5 4690k | MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G | Swiftech H240-X | MSI Z97s SLI Krait Edition | Corsair Vengeance Pro 8gb ( 2x4gb ) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 850EVO 250gb SSD & WD Caviar Blue 1tb HDD | Fractal Design Define R5
