Hi All,

I have my 32" monitor setup and I get the feeling that sometimes, I'm too close. It is more obvious when I play fast paced FPS. Now, my desk's depth is 60cm. I'm thinking that 80 or 90cm depth will be good. Meaning that I will be almost a meter away from the display. Is that enough? Or shall I organize things a bit and go even further than that? If the latter is true, then I would need to have my monitor totally away from the computer and probably mounted on the wall.

I want to know how do you setup your workstation at home for a 32" inch display.

One note to keep in mind is always making sure that the center of your monitor is level with your eyes. Having it placed otherwise causes strain on your neck and slightly annoying reflections at times. As for distance, as long as the entire display is in your peripheral vision without having to move your head, you should be entirely fine.

I use 2x 28" 1080 monitors and I probably sit about 2.5'-3' away on avg, depending on what I am doing. It really all comes down to what is comfortable for you.

I am sitting and my eyes are looking at the center of the display and sometimes a little lower and I did not get any pains in the neck. The only thing that I notice is that I had to stretch my arms quite too far to get to the mouse while setting at a comfortable distance to my eyes. That is why I am considering a change in my setup. I had an idea that maybe there is something that I can attach to my desk to have the mouse sitting on it. I found something like this on amazon but it was too narrow and wouldn't fit my movement and my mouse pad.
