Help Setting up subwoofer

Do this:

 

3.5mm splitter pluged into mb ((not spitting left and right)

One side goes to speakers, other side goes to rca input on sub

ill try that for my last resort because i dont want to go out and buy a splitter

That is litteraly your only option.

Trust me, windows is stupid for anything more than stereo.
