Hi,

Am looking to build a computer with a budget of $1200AUD (Australian Dollar for those who don't know).

The $1200AUD is for the parts, not the postage (postage makes it about $1300AUD).

The $1200AUD must include a Monitor. I mean I would love to have a 120Hz+ 1080p or 1440p monitor, but I think it's out of my reach in this budget.

am planning to add a GPU down the line (GTX 1070), but I don't need it as of now. Form factor I would like it to be ATX.

**Must include the LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer optical drive, so preferably only need 1 optical drive slot for the case, don't want any more**

Here is what I have so far:

If you can find the PSU somewhere, it should be fine. The rest looks good.

What were you planing to use the computer for?

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Just now, HPWebcamAble said:

Gaming & Browsing. You're probably wondering why I dont have a GPU if I'm going to game, it's cause my Toshiba Satellite Laptop (that is like 5 years old) handles GTA V fine on Medium Settings, so I don't really need one yet. But I will add one down the track. Don't have enough money at the moment.
