I'm a first-time PC builder, and right now I'm in the middle of building my first rig(by the way, she POSTed last night, it was so exciting). So after opening my video card I realized that my VGA cables won't fit in the DVI or HDMI port. My video card is a EVGA gtx 760. I've got two monitors. One is intended to view background applications and make sure everything is ok, so I'm ok with that monitor using my CPU(A8-6600K) integrated graphics, but the other monitor will be used for gaming, and I want my video card to process it's graphics. The monitor for gaming says something about "DVI(optional)", but I can only find a VGA port. What are my next steps? Get a VGA to DVI(or HDMI) cord, get a new monitor, or return the video card. I can't really afford a new monitor, but if it's the only way. I can do it. Thank you reading, I appreciate all answers. Have a great day!
