Intel has this thing for mobile graphics where it'll adjust the brightness of the screen depending on the colors present. The effect is a weird constantly-stepping backlight that I can't stand. Now, I can turn this off on battery, it gives me a few 'modes' to choose from and a few options under that. On AC, however, it only gives me the mode settings, and none of the other stuff. Is there any way to turn this irritating 'feature' off for AC? I can't imagine they just wouldn't give you the option for AC when they give it to you for battery...
