I wouldn't go that far. No doubt there will be an increase in performance over the 980TI when comparing AIB vs AIB but it's not nearly what we all expected. There is a reason Nvidia is marketing the 1080 against the 980 and not the 980TI. Right now the 1080 makes no sense for anyone with a 980TI and with price drops, the 980TI becomes a much better buy value wise.

That's why I'm going with Evga and not Nvidia FE or any other blower type design for that matter.
