Can it run Dark Souls 3 in constant 60 fps?

Well.. if you have an FX, then you might as well just get a Haswell platform rather than going with an older CPU.

If you have the cash, aim for a z97 + i5 4690k. If not, H81 + Xeon 1230 v3 or 1231 v3. Re-use your current RAM.

You currently have a 6300? If so, you will bottleneck the 290 from getting 60 constant frames in this specific game.

Yeah thats why I'm looking for an upgrade but not-so expensive. DS3 doesnt run on 60fps with this.

This one I found is £50 and from looking at some sources its quite an upgrade from a 6300, but I dont know how much.

Where the hell did you find a 3570k + mobo for £50? That's... fishy, to say the least.

Mobo is not included. the 3570k is £50 and its working fine.

Well, then add the price of the mobo and compare with a second hand 4440 / 4460. It'll most likely be around the same.
