So recently I bought a LG 23EA73LM-P monitor, which is replacing my old Dell 1280x1024. I am still using the Dell as a auxiliary display. I use it to display a chat clients and music players and other such stuff. But when I game on the LG if I want to click on something that is being displayed on the Dell, the game will minimize. It is as if I was Alt-Tabing out of the game. I am running a GTX 660. The LG is plugged in by HDMI and the Dell is by a DVI to VGA cable. So is it possible to have another desktop that is separate from my main one?

But it would be nice if Surround/Eyefinity supported different resolution setups. Like Portrait Landscape Portrait setups, where you use a large format 2560x1600 and two 24" 1080p screens for peripheral vision in games. People have done it but with editing the driver. You get the screen real-estate, but you don't have the six feet of screen with 3x1080p set up
