Upgrading Phone

Hey there, I am planning on upgrading from my current Samsung Galaxy S4 phone to a newer phone as it is outdated and no longer satisfies me. Currently I am interested in the One Plus One phone and I would like some suggestions on what to get. I have a budget of around £600 and would prefer something cheaper, thanks

hey there.  i like your idea of the oneplus 1, oneplus phones are amazing when it comes to value for money, you might want to have a look at the oneplus 2 they are available for around £250, and they come packed with powerful components such as, a snapdragon 810 cpu, 4GB of ram and 64 gb of dtorage space.

 

or if you like your samsungs you might want to look at the galaxy s6 or s7

 

i wouldnt waste your time with iphones, they cant do as much as an android device and they are more expensive in most cases, when you buy one of them all you are paying for is the brand name.

Hello Salty, 

I myself have a One Plus X and it is an excellent bit of kit and quite cheap too. I have used my friends iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S7 devices and I must say they're very good phones. I personally prefer android so I'd go for the S7 but if you like iPhone go for it. Other good phones exist such as the Nexus 6P and LG G5 ETC. I hear BlackBerry have released an android phone which my friend says is good but I haven't used it before.

hello. i myself have the new BlackBerry android smartphone, (the BlackBerry Priv)  and i love it! it is a very good phone, iv always been a big fan of BlackBerry, especially their physical and on screen keyboards, however now the new priv runs android i can use all of my favourite apps without any compatability issues! however it is a very expensive device costing £550 when it first came out. but you have to bare in mind that this phone has much less spec than the oneplus 2

S6 or S7 I guess if you want to stay android. On a different note, can I have your S4 then?

I just made this same switch about 2 months ago. I had a GS4 for about 3 years and just got an S7. I love it. The only issue I have with it is the non-removable battery. I KNOW this will be a HUGE issue in about a year. With my S4 I ended up buying 4 additional batteries and always had a hot brick with me when I went out.

 

S7 would get my vote.
