Asus maximus viii hero and formula seems quite familiar but what are the main facts that makes formula expensive than the viii hero?? And which motherboard should be more stable if i overclock my cpu?

Dunno about overclocking (probably the same)

 

But the big difference (that i can easily notice) between  HERO VIII and FORMULA VIII is the PCB Armor, VRM watercooling, RGB Lights all over the mobo and Wifi/bluetooth
