Silicon insert for PETG

Hi,

I'm planning to build a PETG system with EK-HD 12/16mm tubes (7/16" - 5/8"). The problem is - I can't find a matching silicone insert. The best I found is Alphacool Silicon Bending Insert for ID 1/2" / 13mm tubing, which has 11mm thickness. Is this 11mm good enough to bend a 12mm ID tube?

That is one solution, although I would rather buy just the silicone (and a bit longer one), since I already have the other stuff.

I know what you mean but the problem with going the route you originally mentioned is then you run into issues where the tubing can easily collapse on itself to some extent because the insert isn't big enough. I wish they would just sell the inserts as a separate kit.

I think I'll buy this kit, if I won't find a matching insert. Is 12/16 so exotic, that only one manufacturer sells it?

You asked for silicon insert, which chips are made from silicon. Next time ask for something silicone.
