Hello I'm currently trying to decide what case to pick for my build. I don't want my price to exceed 1,000$, also don't plan on overclocking my CPU ( any help on a non-overclock motherboard would be helpful too). I really don't want to switch out on my R9 390 for another card.

Thank you,

first off 16GB of ram isnt that much more in price it'd be some padding for the future

2nd you can get 10 Pro off of Kinguin for less than $30.

third you can probably do fine with the i5 6600.

Fourth you can always save more money with Haswell, DDR3 ram is a bit cheaper, but Skylake is fine and now it costs about the same

other than Ram and 10 Home in my opinion it's a really solid budget build plus you can sill save some with the i5 6600

CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 3960X | Motherboard: Intel DX79SR "Stormville" | RAM: 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series DDR3 PC3-12800 (4x 8GB) Quad-Channel | GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 970 FTW 4GB in SLI (I have Many other builds plus 100+ Macs (don't judge me)... Many specs are listed on my profile)
