I'm curious, what idiotic little phrases or slogans in marketing irritate you?

One of the biggest reasons I hate Apple is how everything they do is "redefining", "revolutionary", "groundbreaking", or whatever absurd superlative they decide to tack on this time...

But, by far the worst one is "Xmm Thin"...

"Do as I say, not as I do."

-Because you actually care if it makes sense.

What annoys me the most when phone brands brag about insane resolutions on their new phone's screen, like 1440p or even 4K on a phablet or smaller sized device, it just seems silly. A.) You likely can't see it at all, Full HD at 5.5 Inches is already beyond 300 PPI, and B.) Let's give people another reason to rightfully so complain about short battery lifespan.

Main rig: Intel i7 6700K @ 4 Ghz with Silverstone Argon AR06 + Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM, Asus Z170I Pro Gaming, 2 x 8 GiB Corsair LPX Red @ 2.133 Mhz, MSI GTX 1080 Founders Edition, 2 x Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB, Corsair SF600, Silverstone Raven RVZ02 (no window version).

For on the road: MSI GE72 2QC Apache with 16 GiB RAM upgrade.

I guess this might have something to do with your eyesight?  I can definitely tell a difference between 1080p and 2k especially in the area of small text when using multiple apps.

I agree that generally it's not needed, but it does come in handy when you start reducing the size of things to fit more stuff on the screen.
