Overclocking Refresh Rate - Will it cause damage?

I'm able to overclock the screen on my laptop by a pretty ridiculous amount through the nvidia control panel (Way over 100Hz from a native 60Hz!) and the difference is huge. My question is whether or not this might cause any significant damage/problems... I'd really appreciate an answer! Thanks in advance. :)

From what ive heard from the internet when searching for the same answer:

It can probably cause problems, although there are no real reported cases of a broken monitor because of a OCed refreshrate
