I changed my boot animation but found that there is a 3rd boot animation zip file named bootanimation_cm.zip. Can I delete this safely? I already confirmed that the new portrait and landscape animation works. Thanks for the help!!!!

i would assume its ok but the guys that really know are going to want motherboard brand and model number. i assume your changing the BIOS boot image from say the ASUS logo.

where did the file come from....was it created when you flashed your boot image? Left over from a download? In the boot image directory? Randomly pop up on the desktop.

With out more information one cant give you a good answer.

You can add the .disabled extension and restart to see if there is any effect.

I played around with the boot anime back in the XP days but I don't remember a third animation. Things could have changed though.

I'm sorry, I should have clarified. The question is for the nvidia shield tablet.
