ITX build CPU Cooler

carlos9759

So im deciding to build a mini ITX build with the node 202 case from fractile design

its gonna have a i7 4790k in it. im not overclocking so that isnt an issue but i want a good low profile cooler that can keep my cpu temps low at stock clocks. i heard in a small case like the node 202, things can get pretty hot. so is there any good cpu coolers ??

For that size case I would recommend the Noctua NH-L9i. There are a few other coolers but they can all have issues with motherboards and ram.

if you opt for the node 202, the coolers you can fit wont allot for much overclocking, be aware of that

unless of course you ghetto mod an AIO in, but only applicable to short GPU (the R9 Nano is pretty much the only card)

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

its only applicable for short gpu, and R9 nano is pretty much the only short high end GPU, other than mITX gtx 970, but that performs much slower

what i recommend is getting another case if you wanna overclock
