Either, there are hardly any bad cameras.  Just bad photographers.

 

Buying a camera is a personal choice.

 

Think about the lenses and accessories you might need later on and see which brand is more affordable.

Agreed, there is very little between them to decide either way

I suggest trying to play with both in a store and seeing which you prefer
