So I just recently built my own PC back in February and had bought a retail version of windows 10. We are currently waiting on my GF's parts to get here and I was wondering if i could use my retail version on hers as well?

Nope. The keys on Windows copies are only good for one installation.

Buy a new one for her.

~` please , don't let my whole life burn down `~

It will install but when it finishes you will have a watermark in the bottom right of your screen asking you to activate windows.

You can buy a key later if you want and input it.
