Is it different than the sound quality of OBS? Can you change the bitrate/overall quality?

You can try using the NVIDIA encoder for OBS which should preform the same as shadowplay (I'm fairly certain it exists)

Are you sure Shadowplay doesn't record your mic too? Go into the ShadowPlay settings and make sure you got "In-game" selected, not "In-game & microphone".

Do it even if you want to record your microphone, just to see if the grain disappears. Try changing it even if you don't have a mic plugged in.

That's sadly the only options you got as far as sound quality goes in ShadowPlay. If it doesn't help then do what HPWebcamAble said and try using OBS with Nvidia NVENC set as the encoder.

Tried nvidia encoder doesn't seem to be different, I always have bad video quality on OBS no matter what settings I put in.

Probably your settings;

Try setting it up like this:

(Plus the Nvidia codec if it lets you do that)

I have a solution for all of you. So you need to go to Recording Devices on Windows 10, locate your microphone and press "Properties". In the menu, go to the Advanced section and untick the 2 markers and change your "Default Format" to DVD quality instead of default CD quality. Done
