Do those "Smart Chargers" work?

Yeah, almost everything that you can connect to a charger has an overcharge protection these days. But they work, for example my power bank just turns off when device is fully charged to save battery.

well most charges do that nowadays like my phone charger does that, it stops my phone at 100 and when it gets down to like 98 it charges to 100 again then stops. and so on, 

 

pretty sure they had this technology for a few years now

99% of devices these days already prevent overcharging, ive always left my smartphones, tablets and laptops charge overnight for years
