Can't Open GeForce Control Panel Or Update GPU Drivers

Hello!

 

So first of all, i am literally not even able to update my GPU Drivers since sometime last year, it just says failed to install driver 'try again' i try again it is done the same thing. I've tried to do a clean install of everything but that **cked me over before because i still couldn't install the up-to-date ones.... (used driver disk) Okay the old ones are not bad it's just slightly annoying. 

As well as that every time i go to open  Nvidia Control Panel it just crashes and the generic windows error that the program has crashed pops up. Sometimes when i click on it, nothing happens at all. I've tried things before and i don't get it.
