Anyone know if  I can purchase and play games on a next gen console without ever connecting it to the internet?

i dont think so they need the internet to do most things i could be wrong and anyone can feel free to correct me but to even install they need to connect to a server.

You can do it with PC, not too sure about next gen consoles. I am pretty sure they require it to be connected to the internet at least once.
